About Us

Mission Statement

The Family Academy is a non-profit, direct service organization developed to help families of all socio-economic abilities reduce the damaging effects of divorce, parental loss, and other domestic trauma on children. 

Direct services are 'state-of-the-art' interventions through participation in research relating to its services. 

Many families come to The Family Academy after being referred by domestic and juvenile court officials, attorneys, physicians, mental health professionals, and clergy.
